What do I get?
Faux/real will be the overall umbrella organization for the festival, providing publicity and central ticketing and and co-ordinating special events to generate a festival atmosphere. Faux/real will print hard copies of a festival program with descriptions of every event over the three weeks, will provide a website and mobile app for all events in the festival. Outreach to media will be provided for each and every event. A central box office will be staffed by the organization.
How much can I charge and how much can I make?
100% of the ticket sales goes back to each company. Faux/real takes a small service charge for our centralized ticketing agency. Faux/real has created a reccomended three tiered pricing structure available to all companies. You pick your price and register your company and payment details with our centralized box office. Ticket income will be remitted directly to your account.
What is this going to cost me and what are my responsibilities?
You must register your event with faux/real. There is a $20 non-refundable application fee. Productions that are accepted to faux/real pay a fee of $250. That fee goes to pay for inclusion in the printed program, inclusion in the website, a centralized box-office system, a share in the price of special events to generate the festival atmosphere, banner advertising around the festival grounds.
Companies have the responsibility of providing high quality publicity materials to faux/real to market and promote their show. High quality images and exciting descriptions of your event serve to drive audience members to your show. Faux/real highly suggests that you also provide press releases and print quality materials which can be used to market your show directly to interested press.
You must register your show in our centralized ticket service. This means providing accurate ticket pricing and account details.
